FRAN BENNET SCHOLARSHIP

The Fran Bennett Scholarship was established by Fran prior to her passing with the express purpose that it provide financial support to students, primarily of colour, wishing to attend residential and/or online Linklater Voice workshops offered by the Kristin Linklater Voice Centre in Orkney.

“Her final wish to me was that every Linklater Voice trainee would get to see ‘all the weathers in one day’ and ‘rainbows’....but most importantly ‘feel the space to breathe’, like Orkney’s sweeping skies and expansive horizons. Applications are accepted year-round, and grant decisions will be made by the Fran Bennett Scholarship Trustees on a quarterly basis. Our next submission by date is the 30th of September 2022.
