KRISTIN LINKLATER BURSARY

Much of Kristin’s teaching career was spent in the US but in 2013 Kristinn returned home to Orkney and set up the Kristin Linklater Voice Centre. In doing so, it was her deepest wish that Linklater Voice become more widely known and practised within her native country and, more specifically, Scotland.

The Kristin Linklater Bursary has been established by the Foundation to offer assistance to individuals or educational institutions within the UK (with emphasis on Scotland) who wish

to study and/or integrate Linklater Voice into their practice or curriculum. For individuals, this might mean financial support to enable them to participate in a workshop(s) at the Kristin Linklater Voice Centre. For institutions, this might mean a subsidy to allow a class of students to come to Orkney and/or facilitate a Designated Linklater Teacher to come to them.
